Uninspiring and flat. A real bust as this was the bottle I brought for dinner to our wedding anniversary. Tried the next day. Unchanged rating. A 100$ bottle which is lousy. Fruit seems gone. I had this wine when it was young. This is shadow of what it was.

Dark cherries touch of raspberry crushed rocks. Sherry. Chalk. Still way to go. A fantastic Volnay.
