This is in a slightly dumb phase. It’s changed a lot since I had it 2-3 years ago and it felt like a sort of clumsy oak bomb (for Chablis). Maybe it needed a decant or a lot of patience. It was delicious but fairly simple. Pure. Slightly apple. Lean with a touch of lemon. But not especially 1er cru feeling? One ponders

Nov 27th, 2018Very 2012. That said, a serious expression of this vineyard, from 70yr vines. Kinda closed fruit wise but beautifully structured. Would wait 3 years before trying again in this vintage.
