Confirming this 2019 doesn’t hold a candle to the awesome 2018 version

Not as energetic as the awesome 2018 version but still plenty drinkable. Better on day two.

Nose has creamed butter, yellow apple peel, lemon pith and green melon.

Palate has creamy yellow apple, flakey pastry dough, lemon zest and moist minerally finish. The oak regimen is balanced, not over manipulated, fantastic showing.

Bottles 2 and 3 of this didn’t disappoint. Fantastic stuff for the price.

Hits all the right notes, with more richness than I expected. Plenty of refreshing length too. So gulpable.

Another great bottle of this exceptional QPR aligote. (So much better than the 2019)

On an abnormally hot day in San Francisco, this wine was exactly what I needed. Lemon oil, high acid, crisp ⚡️⚡️⚡️
