Vieilles Vignes Châteauneuf-du-Pape Red Rhone Blend

Clean, balanced. Not over top, not amazing but solid. The 20% Syrah is at the front of the pack right now. Perfect for a #thegirlandthefig burger and deference to @Sondra Bernstein's #rhonealone ethos.

Jet black version of CdP. I would've called this a Bordeaux based on the nose alone. Terroir comes pouring out of the bowl. Palate is fairly tannic for a CdP but not overly so. It supports the black fruit very well. Great in combination with a prime ribeye. The perfect compliment actually.

Approachable full-throttle CDP surprisingly smooth, not tannic with blackberry and lingering tobacco tastes. This French delight's best years are yet to come. Enjoy

High in alcohol. Burnt caramel and plums.
