If you forget the grape breakdown and producer this is a fun wine. It's like slightly beefed up beaujolais. Simple to the point, acid and tannin in harmony, and a stone-y finish.

Wonderful ripe red fruit, pepper, and a hint of smoke on the nose. Dry with light tannins. Red licorice, juicy, and quite drinkable. Yum!

Multiple recs on this one, but really didn't enjoy it. Empty body and a vinegar mouthfeel.

Surprisingly good for $10. Fruity to be sure but w a light hint of earth for a bit of interest.
