Everything I liked in the Sablet Blanc but with a lighter styled body. Deemed crushable by my tasting group...that is if you have the weekly budget to crush white Chateauneuf. If you do then I wanna hang with you sometime.

Apr 29th, 2018Big but perfect for a 4-hour wine braised pot roast. Super ripe but pure cherry and dark berry fruit, along with a bit of crushed stone. Massive but more savory in the mouth than the nose implies, with low-ish acids and a fair amount of soft tannin. It’s not old school, but it’s good with this meal.
