Feb 22nd, 2013Not a bad bottle at all. New releases are sick and on their way to CA. And bio-d.

A very nice Pommard. Decanted for 4 hours at the suggestion of the fine folks at Chambers St. Layers of aromatics reveal currant, plum, and earth / leather. Lots of dark cherry on the palate. Very complete with a long finish with some great acidity. Tannins certainly there and even after 4 hours a touch of oak is faintly evident, but not in a bad way. Thoroughly enjoyable.
