Savigny-Dominode 1er Cru Pinot Noir

Herbaceous nose. Tart and earthy.

The classy, suave side of Beaune. Punches above its price.

Pretty good.

Notes of cranberry, strawberry and lime. Hints of tannins with a good acidity and slightly bitter bite.

Crush with whole stems and clusters. Cassis on the nose and great aromas. Almost some anjo tequila on the nose. Very little end body finish but mid notes are interesting.

2006 this took a day to come to life then it shone raspberry and summer good length and acidity

2006 dark crimson bright raspberry and strawberry fruit medium oak a hint of spice in a great place

So rich. Must get. Reminds me of burgundies drank in the center of France.

Translucent Ruby color and light bodied. Herbaceous aromas, black currant and subtle earth notes on the palate. Well integrated and a smooth finish.

Whiff of dark blackberries - seems quite extracted and dark. A modern style to please the US customer? Chalky - lots of wood may be too much? Cassis - this is quite good yet not super interesting although well done. Needs may be 2 years or so to be ready or drink now with decanting.
