Les Pitengerets 1er Cru Saint-Aubin Chardonnay

For a 30$ wine at the time this was great but what remains should be consumed fast

Very consistent bottling...a 10 year old saint Aubin that is still very much alive and not oxidized...many top beaune producers would be hard pressed to have this consistency

White flowers, citrus fruits and some granny Smith...for a saint aubin with 9 years it is very alive!

Smoky and flinty as well as racy citrus and nicely integrated oak. Reminiscent of Puligny, but more unruly. Tasty. Would be interesting to revisit with some age.
