Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon

Happily surprised with this wine, I was using it to cook with but ended up drinking the rest of the bottle over the night. Big blue and red fruit, cocoa, cigar wrapper, medium tannins, drinking very well for the price.

such a great fall wine. rich and velvety, herbal. sage, plum, wood. so good in November. would be really nice to bring for thanksgiving.

Smooth consistent cab. Short opening time, delicious flavor of berry and earth all the way thru. Great side w/steak salad.

It's nice when you find the perfect wine for the season. Made from 100% Cabernet, the Domaine Chandon is displaying herbal aromas with plenty of floral notes. Cocoa, dark fruit, and some oak. The tannins are silky and the finish is long and enjoyable. This is a traditional, big Napa cab and one that's done very well.

Really rich wine, super full bodied. A good one to store!

For a producer we had associated with making good champagne, this was a surprisingly good Cabernet. After decanting, it drank rather smooth, tasting vanilla and berries.

Had this but the 2010 on vacation last weekend.. Overall very subtle and pairs great with anything.. Real smooth!
