A very lightly extracted wine that is consistent with Monsieur Clavelier approach. Dark robe and black cherry notes on a very austere and masculine wine, very consistent with the climat. Well done, balanced and very good indeed. Has many years of cellar ahead of it and its for sure above average for the vintage. We prefer more delicate wines but this one is top notch in the register.
