Nose of cherry, very fruity. The palate is fruity too, very round with a nice acid backbone, fruits again, even raspberry on the finish. Reminds me more of a well done Beaujolais than a côte de Beaune 1er cru. Had this wine ever seen the inside of a barrel (not that I absolutely require it)?
