Nice earthiness, and great black licorice and mushroom. Love the bright acid and tannin well balanced with body and alcohol.

One our stops today in Mendoza. This was one of four paired with our four courses at lunch. Highly recommend the lunch pairing!

Dark deep ruby in color with pink rim.

Sweet dark fruits on the nose with blueberries, flat cola, vanilla, very little barnyard and flowers (roses).

85% cabernet and 15% Malbec made with organic grapes.

Medium to full bodied with decent legs.

Smooth and fruity on the attack and dry on the mid palate with blueberries, plums, black currants, oak, figs ,nutmeg and some white pepper.

Long finish with grippy tannins and sweet candy.

Expect more of the Malbec to shine, rather than the Cabernet, on this.

90 points WS.

14.5% alcohol by volume.

Nice Cab. 20 people, first sniff & we all agreed that we smelled maple syrup. Medium bodied, still tight with some tannin. Could probably go another 2 years. Smoky on the palate with plum skins.
