Last bottle of the bunch we bought back in 2021 from the winery and brought back in the trunk of our car. Prior notes apply except it should have been drank earlier I think. The nose is still great but the palate is bit too acidic now. Also, tannins are a bit harsher than in the first few years and I think it'd be better with food now. Still ok to sip on casually though but the initial fun and fruit has faded away.

It's showing much better than the last bottle. The nose is cherry, Cola, strawberry, hay... The palate is well made with a great acid backbone, some nice cherry notes all along, a tiny tannic disturbance in the rear before a fruity finish with a fresher touch. It's simple yet enjoyable

Cherry, hay, earth, plum somehow. Nice typical nose. The palate is well designed with a great acid backbone, a nice cherry note that shines all through the palate, soft, almost cushiony mouthfeel, a great build up in the rear with a tiny tannins effect that create a tiny distorsion in the mouthfeel before a fruit forward finish with a tiny bitter note that pops up. In a much better place than the last bottle. 2 more bottles out of the 6-box we bought in August last year

Nova last week was in a stellar place last week but Les Fouillouses this week is in a different place... It's a bit in an awkward stage right now. The nose is full of rose petals and cherry and a bit of hay. The palate lacks a bit of fruit. There is a good width and some nice and soft mouthfeel but no fruit. Some tannins kick in the rear, powering a rather long finish but again without fruit. There is even a tiny salty touch in the end which is rather unusual for gamay. Or is it my cold messing with my senses 😂

The nose is made of ripe cherry notes, kirsch liqueur, an earthy thing and a flowery thing too. This is very inviting. The palate is very well made with a good acid drive, a superb and bright cherry fruit all along with a good mouthfeel, very energetic, some gentle tannins creating some discrepancies in the rear, and a long fruity finish with a tiny salty note in the end. A very good "vin de soif"

This is one of the wines we brought back in our trunk from our visit to the domain that traveled 2000 km.
Very fun cherry nose, with a note of kirsch, the hay thing and a bit of a flowery thing too (violet?). The palate is well made and textbook good Beaujolais. Strong acid backbone, nice cherry note all along, lively mouthfeel that turns into a nice layer of pointy tannins. The finish is fruit forward and lasts for a bit. Very good effort. Pay a visit to Maryse, Jean Pierre and Julien in Charentay if you can.

It was our least favorite from the most recent haul to the French embassy but still ok- a bit too fruity
