2004 Berthet Bondet Chateau-Chalon

Vintage 2009 | Infanticide. Very intens smell, smell of a textiles factory, soft touch, great balance, all kind of nuts, for me one of the greatest French wines. Paired with 24 months Comté.

Salted caramel and bananas foster, sherried as hell, burnt caramel, and green herbal notes- some bitter greens. A little disjointed around the middle but with a classic (long) finish.

Always an interesting wine and this one was too. From. British friend and enjoyed in Chile!

My first try of Ch Chalon. Great aromatics of almonds, white flowers, and such. Much richer than I expected, but really great acidity, so I wasn’t heavy. Very complex, savory flavors. A real treat

Comté and Gruyére and Jura wine!! ☺️

Vintage 2009 / #vinjaune from #savagnin grape. Mild entering in the mouth after that true to type oxydation smell. Mocca. Lots of power. Not a wine for novices. #jura #chateauchalon

Extreme alcohol nose, oxitone. Totally not my taste. Remaing mouth feel is oke.

Like the lightest, airiest (French) sherry

Musky, caramel, brine and salt... A lot of salt. Awesomeness.
