Got this at Schumers as a substitute when I was looking for the Romane HCdN, same year….this is down the fairway for J, has that refinement/elegance, strong melon/pear on the nose - but not bold enough for me, though worked well with Peruvian spiced chicken

Medium straw colour. Quite ripe and round on the nose , touches of ripe honeydew melon , yellow stone fruit , white flowers . On the palate quite fat and plump , with the yellow fruits coming through . Ok acidity but quite an alcoholic kick as well , lacks a bit of refinement and balance . Ok length , buttery notes on the finish. Probably wouldn’t have guessed white burgundy if blind. Ok I suppose , if you like a richer style, but lacks refreshment and for me .
