Domaine Bernard Morey et Fils
La Truffière Puligny-Montrachet 1er Cru Chardonnay
Light yellow gold, looks young in the glass. Great nose from the start. Notes of lemon and crushed stone, some earthy notes and a little vanilla. Rich and powerful in the mouth. Palate staining acidity with a long and satisfying finish. Love this wine. Great QPR.

Jan 21st, 2018Another good showing for the 04 lineup from chez B Morey... medium gold, nice weight. Leesy citrus nose including notes of tan spice, wet stone and a hint of petrol. Great mouth feel and finish. In a perfect drinking window and at peak. Paired well with all the fish dishes we had at Flying Fish Grill in Carmel.

Jun 12th, 2017Light straw color. Great nose with lemon, wet river stone, clove, and pit fruit. In the mouth it's very rich; then the acidity builds after a few hours of air, but never quite matches the rich fruit. Nice quaff though on a Sunday afternoon summer day.
