Vaillons Chablis 1er Cru Chardonnay

Ten Grand and 1er Cru Chablis from the 2007 and 2008 vintages, both considered classic years. Very reductive/matchstick. Those who like that style rated it much higher than I did. So did Allen Meadows - BH92

Aging beautifully, nose of yellow stone fruits, slight oxidation, rich & sensual in the mouth, flavors of peaches, nectarines, just gorgeous on the finish, salinity, citrusy, bright & pure. Paired with homemade crab cakes and warm potato salad...
