Domaine Bart
Les Finottes Marsannay Pinot Noir

So much more open than even a few months back. Ripe red cherry, strawberry seed, leather, dried rose petals, and sandalwood. An absolute standout Marsannay!

Ready to grow into something special. Glad I bought a few more bottles of this.

Garagiste selection. $19.96. Smooth tannins. Great value for Burgundy.

Typical fruity style Marsannay but not a very exciting wine. Complexity not very high. Good fruity summer red burgundy, just not the quality one can get for village Burgundy at the $30 range

According to Pierre Bart Les Finottes is his entry level of Marsannay. The vines are grown on the flat plot of land. Despite of that the wine shows the finesse and elegance of good village Burgundy. I really like this Domaine. Marsannay has incredible value and I will try to explore it.

Visited Martin in 2012 and fell in love with his wines. I remember locals in Burgundy 'pffft'ing Marsannay and I've come to learn that's perfectly OK with me because the quality and value here is unreal. He also had a missing finger... a sign of a true farmer... or bad gambler? No gamble on his Marsannys though, GIT SOME. Especially if there is some rosé.
