Hahahahahaha! Oh this one is a bitch. She tricked me into thinking she was corked the ENTIRE first night this was open. First time I was forced to leave her on the counter feeling rejected. Left it for 2 nights and redemption has become! Reminded me almost to an exact tee of the Balthazar Cornas chaillot. Tons of violets with a massive attack of limestone and granite making her a warrior of extreme grace. Cheers to opening this little girl. She's fierce and just barely forgiving if you have the patience.

Go ahead and drink 2011 early! Feared I'd sacrifice a baby to a hungry volcano on this one but it's perfect for drinking now or pretty damn close! Fresh ground beef aroma vs Vin des Amis of this vintage, white pepper/assy a touch but not unclean. Floral and unripe plum and black olive tapenade. Hard to stop drinking actually.
