Sep 1st, 2015A little underwhelming. The blackberry was enjoyable. Seemed to occasionally find mild tannins towards the end of medium finish. Opened up quickly and didn't seem to change much after.

Quite lovely, yet not impressive. Black pepper, wet soil, nail polish, heranium — nose. Too acidic and rather thin, I was hoping for a dense-er palate.

All the markings of a 1er cru Bourgogne for $40. Great organic earth, rich fed and black fruit. Burgundian secondaries but not over the top. Clean, modern burgundy at a reasonably good price.
