Love this wine. The person who introduced it to me said the vineyards are so old, that the people planting all of the rest of Burgundy were drinking this wine. Sadly, this is the last bottle out of that case.

Chardonnay from Vire-Clesse AOC purchased from #HumbleGrape. This is a nicely aged old vine wine that's seen time in oak and some MLF, but it is the honeyed tertiary nutty nose that make this stand out. Lots of toast also, some grapefruity citrus give it a nicely balanced acidity. Good value from a Macon wine!
