Great, similar to chateneau de Pape. Very deep, inky ruby purple color. The aromatics are intense, pure and complex and bring to mindblackberries, violets, garrigue, and licorice. The attack is rich and round with beautiful flavors of red and black berries, spiced plums, pepper and herbs. The mid palate is fresh and balanced with great texture provided by silky tannins. The finale is a long finish with rich dark fruit, and palate-coating herbs and minerals.
