Classic Cornas with the animal and rusticity offset by purity and terroir. For the vintage this shows no signs of the heat and stress you would think. We chalked it up to old vines saving the vintage being able to tap into deep water reserves. Whatever it is, the winemaker did a fantastic job of maintaining balance and purity.
