Aux Réas Vosne-Romanée Pinot Noir

Serendipity in Tokyo.

Such an excellent expression of V-R, always so approachable when young, but with a couple of years on it it really shines.

2010

Lots of fruit as expected from the 2010 vintage. But the tannins are still strong which actually paired off well with the main course fatty steak.

2010. A little bottle stink gives way to a fabulous glass. Nice balance of primary, secondary and tertiary. Not cheap but very classy. Perhaps a touch too much oak but generally good balance (13%)

果実味の濃厚さと凝縮感がかなり強く、まだちょっと飲むのが早すぎた感じであと5年位すると良くなりそう。果実味や土っぽさのニュアンスなどから、ヴォーヌ・ロマネというよりニュイ・サン・ジョルジュに近い印象。
