Opened with a gentle ffftttz. Marmalade in color with a little fizz left. Sherry notes, toasted almonds, orange, peach. There’s some life in this but it’s past it’s best. Lovely balance and very interesting.

Wow- a soft peachy gold in color. A powerful and seductive nose of orange, caramel, soft lemon, white peach. On the palate gorgeously open and precise. All secondary notes that match the nose but very fresh still with minerality and a little electric current of acidity and huge length and complexity. Still an active mousse... small bubbles. This is almost exotic and a gorgeous example of aged Dom.

Wow, just wow. Beautiful acidity and still oxidized apples and pears, showing so incredibly well from one of the better vintages of that decade.

Pristine condition bottle. Cork flew out revealing surprising amount of retained fizz. Roast peach/rust colour. Oxidised nutty, orange peel, caramel notes with long length.
