Not all of the ancient ale series is a hit but this many ingredient one is. Whatever combination of hazelnuts, pomegranates, myrrh, apples, ???, the 8th century Etruscan warriors were having with their beer, they obviously had some good taste.

Had this at a lecture on ancient fermentation, props to Dogfish for trying this, its a fruity pomegranate juice with 8+% alcohol to kick you in the ass.

lots of stuff listed in this one, but none of the ingredients overpower - probably my 2nd favorite of the ones we tasted.
