This is a nice wine. It’s hard to tell if we waited a little too long, though. Bright cherry, oak/cedar, hints of bell pepper, nice acidity and tannin still. It’s showing its age, but the structure is good with a rich chicken dish.

Reminiscent of my honeymoon in Tuscany with my wife, we stopped by this gorgeous vineyard on a wine tasting tour. It was my first Chianti and I’ve yet to taste another like it. I would recommend this to absolutely anyone. Top 5 reds of all time.
