Funky but a bit too funky since the last time I tasted it. I found it interesting but not that enjoyable my friends wanted to move on to something crisper and lighter pretty quickly.

Yes, this is typical NZ Sauvignon on the nose, pungent, green nettles, tinned asparagus and peas and cats pee, but with a few years bottle age, this is fresh and bright with some depth on the palate. Great example.
