Wow 2013 drinking fantastic, 200 year old vines! I can taste the ocean breezes - minerals screaming for seafood!

Meyer lemon oil, ripe white peach, asian pear, green banana, citrus blossoms, spring honey, tea leaves, lees, damp earth, salt, mineral, elegantly phenolic on the back end. It’s extract, oak upbringing, and lees enriched mid-palate are kept in check by ripping acid and tight, coiled energy. Very precise and pure, harmonious.

Herbal infused citrus brilliance. Lively energetic tension added with firm acidic structure & pronounced mineral notes. Fantastic Albariño.

What other Albariño is on this level? I'm asking out of genuine curiosity, because I'd like to taste more. This isn't the high yield confectionary/glade perfumed Albariño most (including myself) are accustomed to. It's saline with broad texture and powerful minerality. There are vines in this vineyard that are 250+ years old and it shows. What a great site. There is truly world class white wine coming from Do Ferreiro.

Transportive. Spanish fishing village and musty cellar and more than an echo of Chablis. Bright lemon, hint of preserved lemon and herbal nuance. Some stone fruit peeking out too. So much texture and the acid is just in check now.

Amazing 200 years #oldvines #albariño #albarino from #salnes #riasbaixas seemed like grand cru Chablis or a Grand Cru from Alsace. Outstanding quality.

Apricot, lemon, crisp apple, pear and mineral. Electric acidity, complex layers and a very long finish. Delicious!

One of the most saline (non-sherry) white wines I’ve ever had. Amazing.

Incredible. From 200+yo pre-phylloxera vines, this is saline and mineral with a sweet herb-and-Asian-pear thing going on with petrol notes. Laser-like focus on oodles of dry extract and a long and distinguished finished. Not for anyone who likes their wines fruity and buttered - this is for dry chenin and Riesling rock-lickers.

Pale yellow. Lemon and ocean on the nose. Intense flavored of tart lemon and melon. Overwhelming minerals, stone, and oyster shell-almost salty. A bit disjointed. Might need more age. An earlier vintage that we drank in Bilbao was much more harmonious.
