13.5% alcohol. Rich pineapple, butter and vanilla aromas. There is a romantic earthy fogginess (do foggy days have a smell, I think so). Buttery, cream soda flavours and I think the oak is imparting a little tannin. Some acidity, there is a bit of sweetness but the richness is reasonably balanced.

Recent pretending I was an 80’s party girl activities have included Madonna dance parties (get into the groove) and rice cakes (to counteract excess Chardonnay with malo and oak but DAMN I love this “diet” food). And also 80s vibes from aforementioned Chard. Toasty okay Chard. But this is TASTY Cali Chardonnay. Really. Well balanced.
Okay so felt a bit basic but...it is fun.
Bright. Full of bake-y apples and pears and lick of butter-vanilla bean streusel.
At first blush I was iffy but it but it usually takes a couple sips for my palate to acclimate. If after those two sips I’m like, nah...it’s not for me or obviously poor additive-laden quality and I move on. If after those first couple of sips I want more, I say yeah! Let’s see what happens.
This bottle may not be a marriage but could be enjoyable for a night or so. Similar to dating I suppose, jolly good for a casual date and sometimes that is what you are after.

Golden warm color, medium to almost full body, buttery, nose, and nice citrus finish. Good buy for the money too.
