Birthday gift from Nancy and Jim. Rich wine with an inviting bouquet of stone fruit. A hint of coffee complements the blueberry, spice and chocolate flavors.

Old vine Malbec. The right level of dark fruit notes and mild acidity give this wine a smooth finish

Dry, fruit forward, medium acidity and low-medium tannins. Needs to breathe to cut some of alcohol burn.

Its aight. As a red in general for $11 it's a great go to, especially for parties and hanging with friends since it's such a crowd pleaser (at least if your crowd is North Americans). Its wine that has no edge at all so that it doesn't taste "bad" like a bold cheap red might, but I don't think that technique has value. Not to me anyway.
