Real diff and playful Cab. Less tannic more fruit forward for sure. Drinks like a mouvedre and Bordeaux hybrid. Also not a bad backdrop: the Stifler’s Mom scene from American Pie in the background

Still trying to figure this one out. Achingly young of course. Pop and pour: is this Mourvèdre? A slight funk and dark fruit with an almost effervescant and sprightly tone. This is definitely a @Hardy Wallace wine. After a few hours this is noticeably more tannic on the back end with some cassis fruit and a touch of cedar emerging but still a relatively light body. An hour later this blooms with pencil shaving and clear cassis that makes me think of a young St. Julien, but on the rustic side. Will be interesting to see where this goes over the next decade or two. Kind of excited that @Hardy Wallace is able to create such a fascinating representation of good cru bordeaux in Northern California. Very different in style from Calluna, but that's a representation of the breadth of Bdx maybe. And on an unrelated note, #letsgopens! Sorry @Berg
