Santa Rita Hills Pinot Noir. Aromas of blackberries, raspberries with hints of coffee. Tart Blackberries on the pallet with some notes of thyme and rosemary. Oaky and smoky. Fuller bodied than many Pinot Noirs I've had.

At $83 this would be a bit overpriced - for some reason I got it for $48, for which it is a bargain. Ripe fruit, complex, moves towards full bodied end of the spectrum. Dark colour, lovely nose, does a lot right. I just hate it when a wine is priced so high you have to consider whether it's worth the cost.
