Didier Dagueneau
Silex Sauvignon Blanc
2022 Independence Day Party 🇺🇲 with several members of our Tastevin crew and extended friends.🍷 Proof that our palates are wider than Burgundy. Notes may be light, scores will be honest.
1500ml; From our cellar. Wonderful, so young still...very, very happy we have more (same vintage) in magnum & standard. Notes on future bottles. So many smiles today, all cheeks hurt.

Magnificent. Pristine bottle, richness and depth yet weightlessly elegant. Did not taste a day over 4-5 years old, possibly younger, absolutely incredible. Yellow tree fruits, gooseberry, lees, wet stones, river water, fines herbs, blossoms, struck rocks, cool verbena, earth. Top form and demonstrated its class with absolute truth.

Apr 3rd, 2016Absolutely beautiful bottle! Fresh from the start could have been 3-4 years old. True to form and has to be one of the best bottles I’ve had from the Loire.

Jul 10th, 2021For SB, it's Dagueneau and Vatan at the top of my list. This is just to damn pricey. L'chaim!
