I wanted to like this more. It was missing something insightful, idk. Good acid and fruit, although the abv is somewhat high, it wasn’t pronounced

My favorite style of Chard! Clean, focused, yet imminently complex and multi-dimensional. Saline, acid, but also mouth-coating, long-finishing, and adrenalized!

A point of reference is useful... this crushes the Morlet, and at $23 it’s a case buy.
Pristine, focused and lifted. RP nailed the notes and rating. Loads of pears and flowers on the nose and palate. Beautiful delineation and acidity. Trust me on this - you won’t be disappointed.

V2018. Whoa! Really good, really different. Peaches, melons, wet rocks nose. Creamy, ripe tropical fruit, peach, melon and lime fruits. Saline and mineral finish. Nicely balanced, loved it!!

I have rated this previously and absolutely recommend this! Just delicious and not a butter bomb!

One of the best chards I’ve tasted and I’m a Pinot fan of Brewer Clifton. I am going back for more.

Diatom’s 2009 Chardonnay Bar-M, from vineyards in Los Alamos, is a gorgeous wine and a fabulous value. Tangerine oil, white flowers and light tropical accents give this curvy, airy Santa Barbara Chardonnay so much appeal. Breezy saline notes linger on the wonderfully inviting finish. $25.00 (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, October 2020)

From a site in Los Alamos, the 2017 Chardonnay Bar M is perfumed, lifted and wonderfully gracious in feel. Citrus and floral notes abound in a very pretty, expressive Chardonnay that shows the aromatic style that is so common here. White flowers, mint and saline overtones add closing layers to this pretty and inviting Chardonnay from Greg Brewer's Diatom label. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, September 2019)
