Not sure how the hell I held onto a 2000 vintage of this beauty

Still 15-20 years left in this bad boy! Can’t imagine how this tasted out of the barrel.

Decanted 20-minutes before drinking. Fruit getting a little muted. Silky tannins, balanced paired well with steak salad, nice forest floor, little leather, & tobacco, almost had a hint of Rutherford dust, with is not typical of this mountain fruit. Never disappointed in opening a D.C. Quality! @DCWFC

Mineral madness. Still bright as the sun.

This 2000 is still very tight, showing some red & black fruit with a little has a little Bordeaux funk with some nice tea notes on the end. On the palate tannins are starting to integrate well and getting silky showing Bing cherry, with a faint cedar, and tea black tea notes.with a soft finish

Better than the last bottle I had on Monday. I'm a full fledge Diamond Hill homie from this day forward.

Oh yeah baby! Big fruit up front followed by plenty of grippy tannins. Dark fruit on the long finish. I've read some reviews that have had issues with the vintage. Not out of this bottle. Plenty of tread left on it as well.

First forward fruit; with earthy after taste. later, black fruit, expose in my mouth

Clean full bodied.
