Blueberries and blackberries on the nose. Clean, presentation on the palate. Clarity and precision define this. 17 years in, it still shows youthfulness, and refinement. The acid has kept this young. No rush to drink this.

May 10th, 2018I'm a huge D.C. fan and the Microclimate series' always blow me away. Blackish purple in the glass with a massive nose of funk and wet slate. The palate is super intense- blackberry reduction and minerals. Really bright acid. Not sure how, but moderate tannins are still around. Killer!
