This is actually the Syrah. Nice strong fruit scent when poured which I love. Full bodied, black cherry and plums on the tongue. I love that where these grapes are grown is near the ruins of a Moorish temple that are revealed when the water level drops of the lake it is in. Very nice wine!

Sep 15th, 2018Starts with cherry and heavy spice on the palate. Tannins are a bit overwhelming but get more pleasant as it decants.

Nov 19th, 2016WSJ wines. Pretty good. Starts off with some heat, mellows some but drinks more like a zin or other refined wine but not as strong or gnarly. Would get again.
