For the price, really great. Licorice, plum, raspberry jam, dried herbs, toast spice, fresh roots, wet earth minerality and nice acid. Singing well on day two. A wine to buy by the case for food.

Tastes of Italy. I love it. Cherries, raspberries , vanilla, hint of stone.

Prominent earthy and floral aromas- moss, lavender, and sweet tobacco, heady herbaceousness- like the sachet I'd want to put into a tomato sauce. Black cherry & hints of black truffle too--wow! I'd say the palate is a slight let down from the nose, but at $9/btl I have no complaints--a helluva steal!

A pleasingly dry red with long legs and an inviting nose of ripe cherry and crushed herbs. Smooth palate that reflects the nose with a lingering finish of coffee and cocoa.

Simple but tasty. Had with pizza and also with grilled spicy chicken. Nice nose. Could be candidate for weeknight "house wine"
