Vurria Terre Siciliane Nerello Mascalese

I had the Rose, though it looks like they also make a red from this grape. Spicy, strawberry, finish was soft and round, refreshing acidity without the austere flinty finish of some French rosé. Great paired with the pizza on a warm spring day.

2014 vintage. Lush black cherry. Chewy tannins. Balanced acidity. Excellent.
