The 2018 Cabernet Sauvignon DI CO is a very pretty, delicate wine. Aging has really given the 2018 an extra level of polish I did not see in the barrel sample last year, especially in its contours. Inky dark blue/purplish fruit, sage, mint and lavender add expressive layers of aromatic nuance. This is an impressive wine, especially in its peer group. Readers who want to drink the 2018 young should give it a good bit of air first. (Antonio Galloni, Vinous, January 2021)

Young and primary with lots of dark fruit to cover the tannins. Very enjoyable to sip at.

Blue and black fruit, leather, graphite, very firm tannin, med body, med + acidity. Has all the elements but I think will improve quite a bit with a few more years 👍

For the price ($55) this is an excellent and well-drinking cab. It is probably a little young. It tastes pretty classic to me but well-versed folks also guessed nebbiolo.

This was great- typical Napa fruit but not heavy handed.

Nice pure blackberry and cassis fruit with just a dash of brown sugar. While it has plenty of fruit, it has a savoriness and fine tannin that keep it from being cloying and bring it good balance. Very enjoyable without food, but it really shines with a grilled, dry-aged Flannery ribeye. It is the kind of balanced Napa Cabernets that takes me back to wines like early 1990s Etude and Forman.
