What a wonderful find! This blend on first whiff seems like it'll be a heavy one, and even on the palate it felt like it was going to rip the top layer of my tongue off with tannins. But then it gently coated my tongue and I realized it was a clean finish that ended up being fairly sleek. I paid $18 for this and am supremely happy.

Second time reviewing this wine, this vintage, yet I find something new in it. The nose is huge in blue fruits and bay leaf, which definitely follow through on the palate. It's a medium bodied wine that lasts for quote a bit on the finish and just makes me happy for $18. A bump up from 9.3 to 9.4 on the scale.

Really really great food wine especially for the price. Had great acidity, nice nose and balance.

Medium bodied, spice but not overwhelming. A blend of Grenache, Sangiovese, Tempranillo, Nebbiolo, carignane and merlot. Smoky, floral accented aromas of dark fruits and herbs.
