It's pretty rare that I'm this pleasantly surprised. Pretty ruby color with a really expressive nose of big ripe fruit and old school leather. Let this baby breathe for about half an hour because these notes are outstanding. There's more Old World to this besides just the name. Earthiness, rose petals, bitter tea, and fruit punch. But not in a bad way. The oak tries to overstay its welcome but fails. Just a really pretty Pinot at a crazy low price.

massive fruit on nose, with dried rose and dark leather. dark cherries and raspberries with black tea, leather, currant, notes of smoke and salt on the palate. tannins are silky and very well integrated. Stellar wine at a great cost.
