This excellent Clarksburg Chenin Blanc is light medium of body, smooth and tingly with bright acidity and a splash of residual sugar. The flavors are honeysuckle and apricot. It cut through the oils and spices of Thai Shrimp Pad See Ew, cleansing the palate nicely.

Apr 28th, 2017A perfect example of Clarksburg CB - not too sweet, perfectly balanced with flavors of pears and dried apricots with a honeysuckle bouquet and a soft smooth mouthfeel. Superlative food wine which makes me long for The City of Trees.

C Blanc from the backyard of Yolo. Color is straw gold and brassy. Nose is candle wax from bees and some flowers like sweet peas. Flavors are simple. Apples and pears are there. Plenty of lemon bars. Nicely balanced. Cheery. This is perfectly enjoyable white wine without a whole lot that pops out at ya. Aged ok for a 4 year old Chenin Blanc.
