2012 Adelaide Hills take on a Champagne blend. A fine example. A cracking way to kick off today's wedding venue scouting in The Hills.

Very distinctive, unique nose of butterscotch, with honey and brioche supporting. Palate is more towards soft apple and citrus, finishing tart preserved lemon. It’s a nice little journey.

Not a bad drop, as far as Aussie bubblies go. Reckon I liked the previous vintage more, but this goes okay.

This is so enjoyable. Peach tart, nectarine, underripe strawberries (but desirably so) cherry glaze, grapefruit, lemonade and the feintest doughy touch. Fresh acidity, I love it.

Leesy like character, Apple skin, almond croissant. This is absolutely stunning, especially for its price. 70% chard 30 % Pinot.

Beautiful Adelaide Hills sparkling. Winemakers background is apparently in Champagne and definitely shows. Beautiful yeasty, doughy tones amongst some creamy hazelnut and citrus. The slightest of sweetness on the palate makes for effortless drinking.
