Richer than expected. Lemony with some light spice. Freshness in spades, acidic structure adds some texture. Very nice Bourgogne.

Nice entry level Bourgogne blanc. Easy drinking, med body, bright acidity. My kind of Chardonnay.

White burgs being such a roll of the dice these days, one is hesitant to shell out for the top crus. We opened this entry-level 2011 with trepidation, quickly turning to relief. Gorgeous bright straw gold. Nose is butter and lemon. Palate zings along, great acidity. Finish is short, and while this does lack the complexity of its more exalted brethren, it acquits itself very well. Nice work.
