In a good place. Plush with fairly soft tannins, though the grip returns on the finish. Definitely old school. Minerality and slight herbaceous profile.

1/2 hour decant(some fine/cloudy sediment). A stunning dark magenta color. On the nose: wet forest floor, tobacco, some red fruit, herbaceous, pine. Taste: smooth, juicy, lean/light wine with some dark cherry, green vegi, earth, herbaceous and a black tea medium finish. Just OK for a tough year.

Needs a couple of hours of air, but after that it opens up with nice fruit and a good balance. Probably best drank soon in my opinion.

Opened up nicely. Great finish. Great company - Brooke, Zach, Manuel, Ben, Christian & Tom. Great meal. Life is real good!!

Strange barnyard funk upon opening, but 2 hours of air and red fruits and earthy tones appear. Very light palate and light but lengthy finish. Velvety tannins and lots of acidity. May be worth visiting again in 3 years but too young now.
