Lucious fruit... full rich, could be more complex... longer aging?

2011. Pleasantly surprised by this, as I haven't had a red from Paso that excited me in quite a while. Savory and sanguine, with a textural depth that suggests rocky soil and ripe stems. There's fruit, but it doesn't take center stage. Speaks loudly of place. Wonderful.

Aged for 6 years. Tastes better before. Limestone taste and not as smooth as remember it being.

The Denner flagship - should have let this age longer to let it mellow out!
