Denner Vineyards
Paso Robles Viognier
100% Viognier. Brightly pitched aromas of white peach, orange peel, flint and yellow rose make a bold introduction to this complex white wine. Flavors of Casaba melon, kaffir lime, and shortbread intermingle on the rich and creamy mid-palate. Bright acidity quickly balances the intensity of the flavors, providing a zippy, long, and refreshing finish.

Feb 20th, 2021Talk about variation...other two were funkadelic. Saline nose. Acid gives it support. Apricot, toast and smoked herbs. Such a unique profile. Last bottle, leaves me more room.

Oct 19th, 2017Denner 2012 Viognier - *^#} me. Never tasted a CA VIo like this... Stainless, puncheons & concrete. Unctuous nose, delicate for Vio, oily mid palate. To die for. Not spitting.

Jan 17th, 201613' Denner Viognier. The nose is so inviting with wildflowers & lemons. Let this warm up in the class for about 15 minutes . Wow...Pear,lavender,tangerine,lemongrass. Washes clean with a slight bit of minerality/acidity. Another wine you could start with as an aperitif, and bring it straight over to a meal. Serve at cellar temperature, if not a bit warmer. # Paso wines

Dec 31st, 2015Perfect blend of sweet, acid, and minerality. Very light in flavor (especially for the straw color) but flavorful. Honeysuckle, lime zest, and granite.
